This is a workout class designed for people who have a chronic illness or disability. Most people with chronic illness or disabilities are unable to attend a traditional gym, either because they can’t leave their homes or because they are in too much pain to go somewhere else. With the Yoga for Health and Wellness class, participants have a chance to explore their bodies and work through difficult topics in a safe environment.

A friend of mine in the dance industry always says that. I think that's true for many things. It really comes down to how you want to live your life. You don't have to feel better to live a good life. Sometimes, it's nice, but, like I said, it's a small number of things. I know people who live great lives without feeling good about themselves. For me, a lot of it has to do with how I'm feeling. I can be really sick, I can be really healthy, I can be really fast, I can be really thin. The way I feel on the inside really does have a huge effect on the way I feel on the outside. Even if I'm overweight or out of shape, or I'm terribly unhealthy - DB: -- not necessarily because I'm working out because I'm meditating because I'm going to meetings, because I'm spending time in prayer, or just reading good books and really enjoying myself and treating myself like a friend.
