The 4 Big Problems with India's Educational System and how to solve them

India is a very large country and has many problems. I am going to talk about the biggest problems in the education system of India in my opinion. Some of these problems are rote learning can, evaluation system, equal respect to all the subjects, better training of educators, the introduction of technology into the curriculum resulting in an effective delivery mechanism for quality education.

Rote learning.

Sheer stubbornness. That's what she liked about me, but not the best thing when you're trying to study. It didn't matter how long I'd gone through with it. The slightest disturbance to her perfect routine would make her go back to it. She went through phases. They were quite amusing. It was about six in the evening. The school was about to release the class. The teacher, Mr. Nguyen, took a last step towards the exit. The students were also growing restless. They wanted to go home. It was the last day of semester tests and report cards and all. He looked at his wristwatch. He looked at me. "You'll go up with the people you're with. I'll wait here until the bell rings. Let me go and put on my coat." I guess I felt I was going with him of my own free will and wanted to give her the impression that it wasn't a threat. But the fact that it was a threat did bother me. It's something like walking into a trap. If you're to go with someone, then you should be sure. You

The evaluation system of education

The government of India under Pranab Mukherjee, in its 2014-15 Budget, had proposed to evaluate the learning outcomes of teachers through the setting up of the School Assessment and Recognition Council (SARC). SARC is a statutory body established by a statute, the SARC Bill, 2014. The term of the proposed council shall be five years from the date of its first meeting, with the chairman and members to be selected from within or outside the government. This makes for a democratic representation of the interests of stakeholders. In fact, a panel, comprising members drawn from academicians, professionals, and representatives of various stakeholders, was appointed by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), to study and suggest some recommendations for the purpose. The SARC Bill will be discussed in Parliament and placed before the cabinet in the next few months. Answers to last week's questions Hi readers. Great. If you read it,

Equal respect to all the subjects

My question is if you have a kid in K, are you supposed to write with a crayon or is it a question of penmanship? My kindergartner brought home a sheet with what grade she is in, her individualized educational plan, and also her daily schedule. The schedule includes school (that is why the principal wanted to make the note), the picnic, playgroup, etc. She also mentioned a field trip for her to go bowling and then to the pizza restaurant. As for the itinerary and the homework they are supposed to do for the week, it is separated into three sections, art, physical education, and social studies. I see art on the schedule. What is art? Is it related to science, nature, art, etc? I have seen a lot of blank pages in the artwork. Are we supposed to keep it covered up to not disrupt the others? I've never had such a thing for kindergarteners. (While looking up the topic of art for the child, I also found a page on the homeschooling board I belong to. It seems to be common for

Better training of educators

The state of teachers’ training in this country is shocking. They are woefully under-equipped and ill-trained to respond to the complex needs of the nation’s students. Hence, even in the few universities that have teaching departments in the country, teachers are poorly-trained and barely proficient. When the TUT mission made its observations, they also gave the example of teachers in the Jwaneng district. They said the division had more schools than Jwaneng town itself, but they needed more teachers and would need much better training to deliver quality education. Once again, the government needs to review and professionalize the nation’s teacher training colleges and tertiary institutions. This will ensure teachers can function effectively. In the meantime, the government should ensure the implementation of the skills development policy to transform and develop the skills base in the country. Even though we make reference to a possible solution to the

Personalize education

One of the most challenging challenges of teaching in a multicultural environment is the often opposing needs of international and local students. To counteract this, the College of Communications decided to launch a CS Learn initiative. The CS Learn program gives students from diverse cultures an opportunity to learn English with other native English speakers and learn about American culture through study abroad programs. The projects are designed to create understanding and to teach practical skills. for exposure,” said Kourtney Tokuda, a second-year literature major. The project has had some success in attracting students who are not native English speakers. Six students participated in CS Learn last year. This semester, they’re now teaming up with L.A.’s Japanese International Community Center to study Japanese and
